In a bid to improve professionalism and efficiency in the transport services at the College of Science, Management has introduced new uniforms for its drivers, a move that has added both style and structure to the College’s transport unit.

The drivers were formally presented in their new attire during a brief ceremony and introduced to Management of the College. The initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen service delivery, enhance institutional image, and promote a culture of discipline and accountability.

The Provost, Professor Phillip Antwi-Agyei commended the drivers for their commitment to duty and underscored the important role they play in supporting teaching, research and administrative activities. He noted that as frontline representatives of the College, their appearance and conduct contribute significantly to public perception of the institution.

The College Registrar, Mrs Mercy Vanessa Darkwaa Appiah-Castel also highlighted the importance of punctuality, professionalism and adherence to institutional standards, describing the provision of uniforms as a practical step toward reinforcing operational efficiency.

The drivers expressed appreciation to Management for the gesture, stating that the uniforms would foster pride and unity among them.
