The college of science, KNUST from the 23rd to 25th August, 2022 embarked on internal elections for various Academics positions.
Members were notified of six vacant positions. Namely:
- Deanship (Faculty of Physical and Computational Science (FPCS)
- Vice-Deanship-Faculty of Physical and Computational Science (FPCS);
- Vice-Deanship - Faculty of Biosciences Science (FBS)
- Non-Professorial Representative, College board - Faculty of Physical and Computational Science (FPCS)
- Non-Professorial Representative, College board - Faculty of Biosciences Science (FBS)
- Professorial Representative, College board - Faculty of Biosciences Science (FBS)
At the end of the election, Prof. Osei Akoto, the incumbent, was maintained as Dean for Physical and Computational Science as well as His Vice, Prof. Joseph Abeiku Ackora-Prah who also maintained His position. Prof John A Larbi also maintained his position as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences Science (FBS).
The three newly elected senior members who will represent their faculties on the College Board are;
Prof. Jacob Kwaku Agbenorhevi, Professorial Rep, FBS
Dr. Herman Erick Lutterodt, Non-Professorial Rep, FBS
Dr. Sampson Twumasi-Ankrah, Non-professorial Rep, FPCS
