Prayers

As part of activities to usher in the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the  College of Science  at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, organised a prayer meeting to seek divine guidance and direction for the year ahead.

The session brought together key officers, staff, technicians and other personnel under the Provost’s Office for a moment of reflection and prayer as the College prepares for the academic year.

The prayer meeting was led by the Protestant Chaplain, Rev. (Dr.) Joseph William Acheampong, who drew inspiration from Psalm 23.

He reminded participants of the importance of placing their trust in God, describing Him as the ultimate Shepherd who guides, protects and provides for His people.

Rev. (Dr.) Acheampong urged staff to uphold good conduct in their professional duties and to remain steadfast in faith as they carry out their responsibilities throughout the academic year.

He emphasised that trust in God should guide decision-making, leadership and service within the College which will in turn bring the vision from Excellence to Eminence.

The session formed part of activities by the Provost’s Office to set a reflective and purposeful tone for the academic year, reinforcing values of integrity, service and collective responsibility among staff of the College of Science.

Prof Philip Antwi-Agyei the Provost thanked staff for their time and participation and wished them a Productive as well as Prosperous 2026.
