Professor (Mrs.) Ibok Oduro (Former Provost, College of Science –KNUST) has been awarded certificates/plaques by some organizations in recognition of her meritorious contributions, achievements and impacts. These include:
- Excellence and Innovations in Sweetpotato Award: Communication for Change; (from the International Potato Center (CIP) in recognition of Communication Materials for the promotion of “Sweetpotato Yoghurt, a fortified yoghurt snack to help curb vitamin A deficiency syndrome".
- Esther Awards 2019 (from Fojmedia in conjunction with Churches and para-church Organizations including Women International Network (NIB), USA; Christian Women Fellowship International (CWFI), Nigeria; and Mission for Christ, India) in recognition of meritorious labour in His Kingdom. This year’s edition of the ‘Christian Women’s Recognition Awards’ seeks to recognize and honour Christian women who impacted the growth of Christianity through dedicated service to the Kingdom of God and society at large.
Prof. Oduro is very enthusiastic/passionate for scientific research into postharvest technology, innovative food product development, training and communication to stakeholders to help achieve food security and sustainable developmental goals.
