PROFILE OF DR. NOAH KWAME ASARE-DONKOR

DR. NOAH KWAME ASARE-DONKOR

Dr. Noah Kyame Asare-Donkor is a senior lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, KNUST.

He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Chemistry from KNUST (in 1993), M.Sc. degree in inorganic chemistry (in 1999) and a Ph.D in organic chemistry (in 2014) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Upon completion of his Masters, he joined the department of chemistry as a lecturer where he had served as a Teaching and Research Assistant (under the National Service Scheme from 1994-1996). He was the departmental, Faculty and college Exams officer from November, 2008 to June, 2011. He also served as a senior member in charge of National Service Personnel and Graduate Students from August 2006 to 2008.

Dr. Noah Kyame Asare-Donkor is a member of the Ghana Science Association (GSA), Ghana Chemical Society, West African Network of Natural Product Research scientists (WANNPRES) and the Pan Africa chemistry Network (PACN).

He is also an Editor and Reviewer for several journals including; Journal of Molecular Modelling, Journal of Science and technology, Environmental geochemistry and Health, Environmental Systems Research, Applied Ecology and Environmental Research, Environmental Systems Research, International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology, Journal of Public Health Management, International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology, Physics and Astronomy International Journal, Scientific Research Publishing, Peak Journal of Public Health Management, International Journal of Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology Research.

Dr. Noah Kyame Asare-Donkor is a resource person for the West African Examinations Council and a Secretary to the local organizing committee under the DFID/RS international conference on Materials for Renewable and Sustainable energy. He is also an external examiner for the school of Material Science and Engineering at the University of Ghana, Legon. He is also a fellow of Unity Hall, KNUST.
