New England College of Optometry’s SVOSH Chapter Donates to KNUST's Department of Optometry and Visual Science

The New England College of Optometry’s Student Chapter of Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanities (SVOSH) in Boston, USA, has donated a wide range of essential equipment and educational resources to the Department of Optometry and Visual Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The donation includes a full collection of equipment vital to the practice of optometry. Among the items are Tumbling E Visual Acuity Charts, Keeler Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope, Worth 4 Dot Light with Red and Green Spectacles, Occluders, Near Target, PD rules, Contrast Sensitivity Screener Chart and a Double Aspheric Volk Lens (90D). These state-of-the-art tools will provide students with hands-on experience and facilitate their understanding of various optometric procedures.
