The Department of Mathematics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has taken a proactive step towards promoting mathematics education and enhancing math skills among students in Junior High Schools (JHS) within the local community. This initiative aims to instill a strong foundation in mathematics and cultivate a passion for the subject among young learners.
Three schools, namely KNUST JHS, Ayeduase R/C JHS, and Emmanuel Methodist International School at Oduom, have been selected as the beneficiaries of this program. Each week, a team of dedicated mathematicians from the Department of Mathematics visits these schools to impart their expertise and facilitate engaging math sessions.
