College of Science acquires two new pickup trucks

The College of Science has acquired two new Pickup Trucks to expand its field activities.

At a ceremony held at the College, the need for the acquisition of new Pickup trucks at the College of Science was emphasised by the Provost, Prof. Leonard K. Amekudzi. He reiterated that the College already had two Pickup Trucks of which one was non-operational, so the acquisition was timely.

He stressed on how important it was for the College to acquire additional Pickup Trucks, indicating that staff sometimes, travelled to far places to embark on research projects. Citing himself as an example, the provost revealed that through various projects, he had seventeen weather stations scattered across Ghana which, sometimes, required him to travel far.

The two Pickup Trucks were delivered to the College in February 2022.
