Michael Baidu, KNUST alumnus from the Department of Physics has been recognized as an important up-and-coming voice in meteorology. The recognition came after he claimed a prestigious Royal Meteorological Society award at this year’s Student & Early Career Scientists Conference.
While in KNUST, Michael was supervised by Professor Loenard K. Amekudzi for his BSc and MPhil research work.
Michael is currently a GCRF African SWIFT-sponsored PhD student at the University of Leeds, UK.
