The College has, on the 11^th October, 2016 commissioned an elevator at its main five-storey facility (Aboagye Menye Complex) to facilitate the mobility of the physically challenged persons and the aged who use the facility.

This is in line with the policy of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), to create a barrier-free environment for the persons with all forms of disability and to integrate them to enable them take more active role in the community.

This latest facility in the College was made possible by the current Vice-Chancellor who in his tenure as the Provost of the College facilitated the planning, purchase and installation of the elevator.

The elevator which, was scheduled to be commissioned by the Vice-Chancellor, was done by Prof. S. K. Amponsah at his instance, due to the Vice-Chancellor’s other more important assignments.
