The Department of Environmental Science, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi is organizing a one-day workshop on “Climate-Smart Agriculture and Climate Information for Resilient Food Systems”. The workshop is aimed at assessing how climate-smart agriculture and climate information services can be mainstreamed to strengthen the resilience of agricultural systems to support resilient food systems in Ghana.
The workshop is part of the Future-Leaders African Independent Research (FLAIR) and the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), and the Newton Fund Consolidation project that seeks to build resilience in agricultural systems in Ghana.
This will guide the development of appropriate policy interventions to support smallholder farmers in managing the risks associated with climate change and variability.
